Moon Rising Hike at Eldorado Canyon State Park

Details
Meet fun new people and enjoy a magical after work hike.
We'll meet at 6pm to hike the luscious Sparrowhawk Ridge - an easy 4.5 mile trail with modest elevations and spectacular views. Just as we crest the pass at the top of the ridge, we'll be greeted at exactly 7:23 pm - and astounded by the rising moon - just two days shy of full!
Dropping down from the pass, we'll take a side trip into the heart of Eldorado Canyon - where the towering stone walls will thrust from the plains to thousands of feet above our head!
This trail is so special I only share the exact start point with attendees - the day before the hike. We'll cap the group size at 12 to ensure a sense of camaraderie. For an approximate location and driving time you can Google Eldorado Canyon State Park.
We'll be back to the trail head by 8:30ish and see the start of a lovely sunset.
