Introduction

I'm a casual and occasional tournament player (1600 USCF/FIDE), hoping to someday have more time to study and practice. Mostly just taking my 13 yr old son (USCF 2000+) to events these days and playing whenever I can

Please describe your chess skill level (e.g., estimated USCF rating, Chess.com rating, or "new to the game", etc.)? Everyone is welcome, so there is no correct answer to this question.

1600 USCF http://www.uschess.org/msa/MbrDtlTnmtHst.php?13878537 Son: 2000+ http://www.uschess.org/msa/MbrDtlTnmtHst.php?13878522

What days of the week and times of day work best for you for additional chess meetups?

For kiddo's sake, sometime after school (4:30) but not too late in the evening (homework, bedtime)

Do you prefer quick games (blitz) or slower games?

I like slower (G60+), son likes all speeds

Do you have any interest in playing in USCF tournaments?

Yes
