Meet the Robot - Roca Sorter at Roca Robotics

Collectible trading cards are not just for hobbyists—they can mean serious business! Trading cards have been trouncing the S&P 500 as alternative investment options and cards sales increased exponentially in recent years. However, the growing piles of cards sold to card and comic shops can cause quite the headache.That's where robotics can help. Roca by TCGplayer, the creator of the Roca Sorter, which has gone through not one but two acquisitions, is welcoming the meetup group into the company's brand new facility to learn more about its state-of-the-art trading card sorter. This sorter combines actuation, image processing, and utilization of APIs to sort 1000 cards in about 2 hours.
