Meet the Robot: AMP Cortex Robotic Materials Sorter ♻️ + its Evolution

Details
A word from AMP:
AMP Robotics is trying to fundamentally change the economics of recycling by making it more cost effective to sort recycling. Our AI powered machine vision systems identified and categorized 45+ billion objects last year, and our sorting robots made 5+ billion picks. Boulder is for Robots last toured AMP just as we were getting the first systems operational, now check back in after we've installed over 300 systems.
Tour our shiny new HQs, learn about the challenges of scaling a robotics system to 100s of installations, and see our R&D lab with 4 generations of evolution of a robotics system.
UPDATE: Some extra information about attending:
- The event will involve a live demo of several of our systems in our R&D, safety glasses will be provided however closed toed shoes must be worn to attend the lab demo.
- As mentioned in the meetup description, an NDA must be signed to attend. A copy of our NDA is here, it can be e-mailed ahead of time to [kimberly.allen@amprobotics.com](mailto:kimberly.allen@amprobotics.com). Or paper copies will be available when you arrive.
- Also as mentioned in the meetup, we are unfortunately unable to open our lab to direct competitors in the recycling industry. Our current list of direct competitors includes: Alchemy Sorting, ARIS Robotics, BHS, BinIt, CP Group (MSS), Eagle Vizion, Everest Labs, Glacier, Green Machine, Greyparrot, Lixo Tech, MachineX, N.Craft, Pellenc St, PicVisa, PolyPerception, Prairie Robotics, RecycleEye, RedWave, Steinert, Tomra, True Circle, VanDyk / Bollegraff, Waste Robotics, ZenRobotics, and Danu Robotics.
- Due to the number of folks attending, we are going to have folks arrive through our cafeteria entrance instead of the main entrance. This entrance is in the middle of our building on the north side (by the highway), we'll have it clearly marked, but please enter through here.
