Family-Friendly Turkey Trot: Luvin Arms 1K 🦃 🌱

Let’s meet up at Luvin Arms Animal Sanctuary for their annual Turkey Trot! Most of us are registering for the 1K Fun Run, but you absolutely don’t have to run to join — you can choose general admission and just hang out with the group.

This is an easy, feel-good morning with other vegan families, supporting a local vegan sanctuary!

FYI, the 1k path is stroller-friendly.

What’s happening

After the run, Luvin Arms is hosting a ThanksLIVING celebration, where the rescued turkeys get their own feast of fresh fruits and veggies. Families can stay to watch, explore the sanctuary grounds, and spend time with the animals.

Plan for Our Group

On the morning of the event, we’ll post what the hosts are wearing so you can find us. We’ll huddle up a little before the “race” start time to say hello, then begin the event! After the trot (or instead of the trot), we’ll stick around for the ThanksLIVING celebration and let the kids check out the sanctuary.
