Hike with BWAC

Details

Connect with fellow outdoor enthusiasts during a hike with us! We'll explore the trails at Afton State Park and chat about BWAC, our mission, and all things Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness.

This is a 4- to 5-mile hike through woods and prairie and along a river. The trail is moderately hilly and mostly dirt, with some gravel and pavement to start and end.

  • Be sure to bring water and wear appropriate clothing and shoes.
  • Plan to arrive a little early, as this park can get busy on weekends.
  • State park vehicle permit required ($7 day or $35 year); purchase online or at the ranger station at the park entrance.
  • While we love pets, we're not able to allow them for this event.
  • Alcohol is not allowed at this event.
  • No children under 14 please.

We look forward to connecting with you!
