We will do a circuitous route from the Main Beach car park in Swanage. What3words///famous.purchaser.clocking. We will make our way up the hill through the town towards Durlston Castle where we will turn right and shadow the coast until we descend to Dancing Ledge. We will stop for a snack break here ( and possibly a dip in the pool weather permitting). We will then return along the South West Coastal Path to the cafe at Durlston Castle. From here we will descend to Peveril point before making our way to the town centre for refreshments. It will not be an amble but it will also not be a speed march. The distance is 7.2 miles with some steep descents and ascents so a reasonable level of fitness is required, we will expect everyone to keep up and stay together. Because of the steep and sometimes narrow paths we will restrict this event to humans only as dogs can be an additional trip hazard. Dress for the weather, with comfortable sturdy footwear, and take drinks and snacks and swimwear if desired. It would make sense to car share where possible as it is £8.00 per car in the car park and would save on fuel costs. This will count as a session for those who have block booked sessions or cost £4.00.
