Kingston Lacy Countryside - Hillbutts UPDATED LOCATION

Sam is not ready to start coppicing yet so we will be working in the Hillbutts head offices gardens instead.

Firstly a few gentle reminders:

• not to attend the volunteering session if you are experiencing any symptoms of coronavirus, flu etc.
• dogs not allowed
• if possible, please car share
• we pride ourselves on working well together, and as an all inclusive group, expect consideration of others
• please let the event host know prior to the start of the work party if you have to cancel, allowing someone on the waitlist to take your place.

Task: Meadow cut and collect, roughing up the ground and then sprinkling a wildflower mix on to it.
We have some dead elm to fell and stack into neat piles, hedge trimming, creating nice clean border lines in the car
park, lots of strimming boundaries, weeding, pond restoration work, orchard pruning and building some compost bays.

Please remember to bring:

• your own lunch and plenty of fluids (no alcohol)
• stout shoes/boots, gloves, wear appropriate clothing for the weather
• PPE just in case it's needed
• your ICE (In Case of Emergency) card
