Kingston Lacy Countryside - Highwood CANCELLED
Details
Due to the wet & windy westher forecast, the workparty has been cancelled. Working on a slope in wet conditions isn't good practice and Sam may not be able to get the vehicle to the site.
Firstly a few gentle reminders:
- not to attend the volunteering session if you are experiencing any symptoms of coronavirus or if a member of your household has developed symptoms and is awaiting results of a test.
- dogs not allowed
- if possible, please car share
- please let the event host know prior to the start of the work party if you have to cancel, allowing someone on the waitlist to take your place.
Task - Coppicing
PLEASE NOTE:
The workparty will now take place at HIGHWOOD (instead of Holt Heath).

Hot beverages plus basic bacon butties will be provided, but please bring your usual picnic.

Please remember to bring:
- your own lunch and plenty of fluids (no alcohol)
- stout shoes/boots, gloves, wear appropriate clothing for the weather that you don't mind getting dirty
- PPE just in case it's needed
- your ICE (In Case of Emergency) card
