How a Little, Personal Project Landed My Dream Job

Jeremy Reiss (@jeremyreiss) is currently the lead product designer for iconography and emoji on the Twitter product @design team. Almost four years ago, he caught their attention with a little personal project and next thing he knew he was being recruited to join the team. He’ll be sharing his personal journey from Kentucky to California, showing a good bit of his work and what he’s learned along the way.

Jeremy was born and raised in Louisville and still calls it home (even though he and his family technically live in the Bay Area). He’s excited for the opportunity to return to the Bluegrass state and speak about his Silicon Valley experience.
