Well, our next speaker, Brady Somerville, will demonstrate how to write browser-based automated tests for your web app -- helping you to avoid this nightmare without resorting to lengthy manual QA reviews. This talk will cover the concepts of browser-based testing, including general concepts, different types of tests, and when they should be used.

Additionally, Brady will go over some downsides of using browser-based testing, demonstrate examples using Capybara and RSpec, and touch on other related tools that are available and may be helpful for testing.

Brady has 12 years of industry experience in full-stack web development. During this time, he has gained experience with many open-source web-related technologies, though he wouldn’t claim to have mastered any of them.
