Caravan Discussion: Forgiveness
Details
## October Caravan Session on Forgiveness
You are invited to consider moving on from anger, resentment, and retribution, as we explore the possibility of Forgiveness in our lives during the October Caravan session.
Discussion:
Human beings are evolutionarily adapted to need to be treated justly and with respect. Yet, our desire to always be treated fairly, and sometimes our desire for revenge, may not be good for our personal health or the communities’ health.
In this Caravan discussion, we’ll explore forgiveness and apology. When have we been able to move on, and when have held a grudge? When were we able to ask for forgiveness after we’d wronged another? How can we get better at both?
If you’d like to do some advanced reading on the subject, consider “The Book of Forgiving” by Desmond Tutu and Mpho Tutu.
