What we’re about
ALL NEW MEMBERS MUST BE APPROVED TO JOIN THIS GROUP. PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE DESCRIPTION. This is a beginner level Bible Study for women only. We meet via Zoom every week to read and discuss the Bible. Each week we take turns reading the Bible, chapter by chapter. We are Bible believing Christians who allow the Bible to interpret itself and believe contending for sound doctrine is essential to the faith. This study is a great way to read God's word and fellowship with other Christian women on a weekly basis. Please have a hardcopy of the KING JAMES BIBLE when attending.
Participate when you can!
START HERE:
The word of God builds upon itself; precept upon precept, line upon line, here a little there a little and requires that we begin with the proper scriptural foundation to build upon (Isaiah 28:9-10). Understanding how to read the Bible correctly in its proper context (i.e., rightly divide the word of truth) is essential to understanding the scriptures and growing in sound doctrine. For this reason, take some time to download the study tool graphic and watch the video lessons below:
- Study Tool Graphic: Bible Overview
- Chart Lesson: Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth by Justin Johnson
- Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth by Donnie Holt
- Right Division Overview by David Reid

NOTE:
The women in this group believe the Bible is the inspired and preserved written word of God (preserved in the KJV Bible), and we strive to uphold the integrity of God's word, rightly divided. Romans 16:17 states, "Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them." See our statement of belief below.
Therefore, we respectfully do not support any cult, unbiblical faith/doctrine/heresy, or false religion associated with Roman Catholicism, Seventh-Day Adventists, Jehovah's Witnesses, New Age, Mormonism, Freemasonry, Christian Science, Unification Church, Wicca, Scientology, Islam, Kabbalah, Judaism, Black Hebrew Israelites, Hebrew Roots Movement, Agnosticism, Atheism, Annihilationism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Universalism (a.k.a. Universal Reconciliation), Pentecostalism, Word of Faith Movement, Prosperity Gospel, Charismatic Movement, Calvinism (a.k.a. Reformed Theology), New Apostolic Reformation Movement (NAR), and so on. If you are currently associated with any of these traditions, beliefs, or organizations and wish to learn more about God's written word and how these beliefs/faiths contradict the Bible, please contact us directly for further discussion.
STATEMENT OF BELIEF:
- There is one true God (the God of the Bible).
- There is one living and true God, eternally existing as the Godhead; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost, each distinct and equal in power and glory: omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent (1 John 5:7-8; Col. 2:9; John 1:1; John 10:30; John 5:18; Mat. 28:19).
- Jesus Christ is divine as the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully human, conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the virgin Mary; Christ is the visible image of the invisible God and in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily (John 1:18; John 8:24; 1 Cor. 12:3; John 10:33; John 1:14; Mat. 2:1-2; Col. 1:15; Col. 2:9).
- Jesus lived a sinless life, provided for the atonement of our sins by His death on the Cross and shed blood, was bodily resurrected by the power of the Holy Ghost, ascended back to the right hand of God the Father, and ever lives to make intercession for us.
- The Holy Ghost is the Spirit of God, fully divine.
- Salvation is a free gift of God. We are saved by grace through faith alone in Christ alone; that the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus (Romans 6:23).
- Salvation happens the moment a person believes the gospel of grace revealed to Paul by revelation of Jesus Christ. At that moment, you receive the indwelling Holy Ghost by which you are sealed unto the day of redemption.
- The Bible is the inspired written word of God, preserved in the King James Bible.
