About us

People are social beings and need connection, both emotionally and physically.
In our increasingly individualistic society, this connection is becoming less and less natural and increasingly difficult to establish. That is why MeetUp came into existence.
Physical connection is something many people would love to experience more often, but how can you achieve this in a fun, playful, and safe way?
As a member of an international cuddling movement, I have learned how to cuddle platonically in a safe environment, without creating expectations in others.
Through various exercises, I teach you how to say “no” — over and over again — until it becomes an automatic response.
The others will actually thank you for saying “no,” because expressing your boundaries is something positive. It also helps them: they learn from it and can offer their cuddle to someone else.
After the introduction and exercises, which take a fair amount of time, we gradually build up a large group cuddle, with bodies gently intertwined.
If you find this intimidating, you can simply join the outer edge of the group or watch from the sidelines to see how it works.
You are always fully in control.
The structure is also quite relaxed and flexible, so it never feels restrictive.
And as for safety, we create that together. We agree on our safety guidelines by raising our hands, and as the facilitator, I make sure that everyone accepts, follows, and actively supports these principles.
So, if you feel lonely, need a hug, or simply never learned how to feel safe with physical touch and would like to develop that ability, please come along and give it a try! ✨✨✨
