Felipe Ernst is the founder of Ernst Equities, launched in 2015 with a 3-unit acquisition in Shaw, Washington, D.C. He has since grown his portfolio to around 1,000 rental units across the D.C. metropolitan area, specializing in value-add multifamily acquisitions and affordable housing (Class B & C).

Before founding Ernst Equities, Felipe worked as an associate management consultant at KPMG, where he contributed to the Loan Accounting System for Fannie Mae. He is a licensed real estate broker, Class A General Contractor, and Property Manager.

Recognized as a DCA 2020 Rising Star in Commercial Real Estate and a two-time recipient of the Mid-Atlantic Real Estate Journal's 30 Under 30 award, Felipe holds a BSBA from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business and a Master's in Real Estate Development & Finance from Georgetown's School of Continuing Studies. In 2024, he received the Tropaia Award for outstanding faculty contributions.
