What we’re about
This is a community for Boston-area queer polyamorous women and non-binary folk - basically, if you identify with the experiences AFAB and Transwomen may have had, this group could be for you. Queer includes asexual, bisexual, lesbian, transgender, intersex, kinky, questioning, curious etc - I like it so that I don't have to come up with a laundry list of descriptors and risk leaving anyone out!
I hope this community will be used for general chat and advertising social events of interest to BQP women and nb’s!

2nd Wednesday social in Somerville
Life Alive Organic Cafe Davis Square, 20-40 Holland St, Somerville, MA, USDiesel is still closed in the evenings, so I'm changing our venue to Life Alive in Davis Square. If Diesel reopens, I'd like to move back there, since they take reservations. Life Alive does not take reservations, and doesn't have tables that are large enough to accommodate us, so if you can go early and scope out several smaller tables and push them together, I'd appreciate your help! This is an indoor venue. (Photo is from one of our Far from the Tree outings, not Life Alive.)
Our 2nd Wed social has been going for 20 years now. Please come join us! We have a terrific group of women and the conversations are lively. Read our FAQ - it does answer a lot of questions that newcomers have about attending our socials.

Movie Night at Malden member's home
Location not specified yet*Please read all the way through the event description before you RSVP!!
Join us for the next movie in our movie night series! We show poly and/or queer and/or kinky movies on an occasional basis. Our longtime member, Angel, is hosting the movie at her home in Malden, a short walk from the Malden Center stop on the Orange Line.
Covid Vaccinated individuals Only. Max number of attendees is 12, so please RSVP early. Angel will email the address to the attendees the week of the event, so please keep your RSVP up to date. You are welcome to bring a date of any gender if you wish. (Please include them in the RSVP!) If you wish to have snacks or drinks, feel free to bring some with you. Napkins, cups, and plates will be provided.
The doors open at 7:30 and the movie will start at 8:00 SHARP, so please don't be later than that. We'll be watching "Babygirl" (1975). Trailer: https://youtu.be/-8Sx6U6Ou0Q?si=ER37GhSjae_zCj7L
Please be vaccinated and have no cold symptoms, we will be indoors. Thanks!
Synopsis: Babygirl is about a successful CEO, Romy, who embarks on an illicit affair with a much younger intern named Samuel — which puts her career and family on the line. The focus is on the exploration of sexual power as a portal of self-discovery. Note: This movie is more on the kink spectrum and less on the queer and polyam spectrum.
Please cancel your RSVP if you can no longer attend, so that others may.
IMPORTANT! PLEASE NOTE! Address will be sent out the week of the movie - if you do not have your Meetup subscription enabled to receive emails from other members, Angel cannot PM you the address! Additionally, please make sure you have either met Donna or Angel prior, as this is at a member's personal home. Attending our Somerville social is the best way to get this requirement met so that you can attend our movie nights.10 attendees
