Meetup in Breda: Joshua Thijssen - Go for PHP developers

We would like to welcome you on our fourth BrabantPHP meetup. This meetup will take place in Breda at Nostradamus.

Starting time: 19:00 (with food).

Talk Go for PHP developers by Joshua Thijssen:
Go combines the best of many programming language worlds. It can compile windows executables on linux, it's as readable as PHP, it's
as fast as C/C++, and has a rich ecosystem like Java. During this talk, we will write some Go programs and give you an idea how Go
works. We touch subjects like channels, goroutines and highlight the big differences between PHP and Go.

About Joshua Thijssen
Joshua Thijssen is an all-round consultant and trainer. His daily work consists of maintaining code bases, working on different projects
and helping other to achieve higher standards in both coding and thinking. He is author of the PHP|Architect book "Mastering the SPL
library" and the Symfony Rainbow Series, founder of the Dutch Web Alliance and regular speaker at national and international conferences.

The location
Parking is possible near Nostradamus. When you head to the building you'll see a small tunnel with a parking sign. You can go through this tunnel, the barrier will remain open. You can park everywhere as the other companies will be away in the evening.

The office is within walking distance from the train station (5 minutes).

To enter the office you need to use the terminal next to the door. You'll be buzzed in and can go to the 3rd floor with the lift or stairs.
