What we’re about
A group for wordsmiths in every genre. Whether you're an absolute beginner or a veteran author, however far along you are in your current project, and whatever your writing goal, come and join us for an evening of writing with other like-minded people.
We are a community of over 150 writers, authors, poets, screenwriters, playwrights, copywriters (and pretty much every other type of writer you could think of), all with one thing in common – a passion for writing. We provide you with a quiet space to crack on with your project. All you need to bring is a laptop, a pen and paper, or whatever else you prefer to write on. Got writer's block? No problem! Ask us for a writing prompt and try some creative exercises to get the juices flowing.
Our venue is The Bull on Bracknell High Street. We meet every Tuesday from 6.30pm – 8pm. The second Tuesday of every month is Share Night where you are encouraged to bring along a piece of work you'd like critique on, or to take part in critiquing other people's works.
We are eagerly seeking new members who want to come along and have a go at writing, so feel free to drop in!
