Excel As A Designer: It's all about Super Powers

Details

Here we go!!! Time for the third edition of Braga.Design. We’re so glad that this community is growing so fast. Thank you again for being part of it.

Our third edition will bring to Braga two fantastic speakers that will share their thoughts on how you can excel as a Designer and boost your career to a new level.

As always, you can expect great snacks, Letra beer, fantastic people and the welcoming atmosphere you've grown accustomed to in our events.

This is the plan for the meetup:

19h00: Gather at Subvisual (https://subvisual.co/) for Food & Drinks

19h15: Paulo Fonseca (https://twitter.com/paulofonseca_me), Founder and UX Director at laux (http://laux.io/): How to become a proper UX Designer

Hey Bro! Are you a Designer? And are you trying to figure out what this whole UX thing is about? And have you heard that this UX thingy pays way more than what you are currently making? And if so, are you trying to apply to those so called UX positions but everybody always says that you don’t have enough experience for the job? Yes? Well, then you should come and listen to this arrogant dude, talking for a WHOLE HOUR, on what you need to do to escape that trap you are in.

20h00: Jorge Martins (https://twitter.com/jorgemartns), Designer at Mindera (https://www.mindera.com/): High Fidelity Prototyping - Micro Interactions Role in Digital Design

While handing design specs to developers, micro interactions and high-fidelity prototypes tend to be left out of the process. This usually harms the communication between design and development teams. But with the myriad of prototyping tools available today, we can effectively close that gap while refining both the product and the end user’s experience.

I hope to see you all in Braga.
