Vascular dysfunction and inflammation in Alzheimer's disease

Although the exact causes of Alzheimer's disease are still unknown, we are learning that not having enough nutrition supply from the blood vessels can be one contributing factor. A recent paper showed some biological mechanisms that cause blood vessel dysfunction and inflammation in Alzheimer's disease, and proposed a potential treatment to prevent or slow the disease. I will discuss some key findings from this paper in the bigger context of Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
