🌳 Tree ID Walk 🌲— Brooklyn Park

Have you ever wondered to yourself, “What kind of tree is this?” Or perhaps, “I know this is an oak, but which species?” Fear not, for I shall show you a thing or two!

Some year ago, I studied dendrology and learned to identify over 150 trees in both summer and in the dead of winter. Now, I ID trees and plants wherever I go. My mind just loves spotting and identifying plants! This event is my generous extension of this love of plants, to share with you who wish to learn it, too.

We will walk, learn some trees, share in some observations and learn a few factoids about some of the lovely specimens of the area. We will roam both the park itself and the surrounding streets. I can talk about trees until the end of time, so come prepared to interact and to learn, and to share in the wonder that is our lignified brethren.
