Are you drawn to plants and tree and want to know more? Perhaps how to tell which tree is which? Come and listen to this plant geek share stories and facts about his favorite specimens and species. A tree nerd for twenty years, barely a plant escapes his notice and his curiosity.
On this walk, we’ll compare baldcypress and dawn redwood, Douglas-fir and grand fir, introduce basswood, hackberry and more.
If you’re similarly intrigued and likewise plant-curious, let’s wander the park and talk about some leaves, bark, and plant families.
