## Who’s leading the workshop

The workshop is led by Nicola Mattis, a brand strategist with 15+ years of experience working with brand marketing teams.
She has led brand and marketing work at Travelocity, Udacity, FedEx, and the Durham Bulls Baseball Club, executing everything from $400 grassroots campaigns to multi-million-dollar initiatives.
She brings that same thinking to small businesses and genuinely loves marketing. Also, she has a habit of waking up in the middle of the night with new ideas, which probably means she needs a vacation or a new hobby. Possibly both.
