An Evening with Crime Fiction Author Marc Avery

Delaware author, Marc Avery, brings a thrilling crime story to the streets of Philadelphia in his newest novel, Discipline. But the story was 10 years in the making. He was on the verge of giving up on finding a publishing deal when a bookstore owner encouraged him to try once more. After sending in the first three chapters of his first book, it worked. He got an agent and also a deal for his first book as he was writing Discipline.

Last year he took himself on a 26-week book tour promoting his work and meeting book club members and readers far and wide. Join us for a discussion with this self-made author who took his work from self-published to traditionally published.

Marc is a husband, father, entrepreneur with a great imagination and an awesome beard. His debut novel, Redemption Lost, is a story of risk, restitution, and retribution.
