Königssee Saturday Hike - join in!

I’m doing a 10 km circular hike in the Königssee region on Saturday, 11 Oct (starts 10:00) — come along!

📍 Meet: Königssee Bus Stop or opposite Grillstüberl Königssee restaurant.

⏰ Start: 10:00

🚶‍♂️ Distance/Time: ~10 km / ~5 hrs (easy–moderate pace with short breaks)

🍻 After-hike: Beer or snack nearby

How to get there

🚌 From Salzburg (direct bus):
Bus 840 (Watzmann-Express) — 08:10 from Salzburg Hbf, platform J → arrives Königssee ~09:47.

🚗 By car: Drive to Königssee (Berchtesgaden) and meet at the bus stop by 10:00. (Paid parking available near the lake.)

🚆 Other routes: Any option that gets you there for 10:00 works.

What to bring Water, light snacks, comfy shoes, and a light layer/rain jacket. (Cross-border trip — carry an ID.)
