Who are we?

We are a branch of the Knitting and Crochet Guild (Home | Knitting & Crochet Guild (kcguild.org.uk) (https://kcguild.org.uk/) which is a national educational charity dedicated to UK hand knitting, domestic machine knitting and crochet. This branch is dedicated to teaching all types of Crochet to beginners and improvers.

Our branch's mission focusses on five main areas which are important to becoming confident in Crochet:

• Gain a solid grounding in the basic stitches and techniques

• Teach you how to read patterns and interpret diagrams, charts and graphgans

• Be able to convert patterns from around the world into UK terminology to help you expand your knowledge

• Give you the skills to develop your own patterns and ideas through dedicated technique masterclasses

• Teach you how to customise your projects using textures and embellishments
