Hello lovely members and a warm welcome!
Join me for a free, gentle introduction to sophrology, a powerful yet accessible practice that blends breathwork, mindful movement, and guided visualisation to support wellbeing and inner balance.
We’ll begin with a very short talk to introduce the foundations of sophrology and how it can help you in everyday life.
You’ll be invited to close your eyes or keep a soft gaze throughout, allowing your awareness to gently shift into a calm, meditative state. I’ll then guide you through a series of simple exercises, including:
- Conscious breathing techniques
- Mindful movements paired with intentions
- A positive guided visualisation
- There will be short, silent pauses in-between to integrate the effects of the exercises
At the end of the session, there will be space to share your experience, though this is entirely optional. You can simply listen or choose to share how you felt during the exercises.
To get the most out of each session, please have the following ready:
- A chair with a back rest for comfort and support
- A calm environment where you won’t be disturbed during the session; if possible
- A notepad to journal your experience and insights after the session (optional)
Please note that you will need to have your camera on during the session. This will allow me to ensure you're comfortable and address any issues or concerns that might arise as we go through the exercises.
