Creative Fiber Technique "Tasting"

Join us at Withers Wool & Farm and get a "taste" of different techniques for working creatively with natural fibers!
Three different artists will lead three workshops, twice each, and they are scheduled to allow you to attend all three if you would like. What a good day!
Melissa Yoder Ricks, of Wild Hare, will teach Circle Weaving; Kathy Withers, of Withers Wool, will teach Art Yarning Spinning Techniques; and Breezy Hill's own Heather Lysantri will teach a class on Needle Felting Home Accessories & Art.
Needle felting is a fun and creative way to create beautiful cloth and decorative pieces from wool and other natural fiber. In Heather's workshop, you'll use luxuriously soft alpaca fiber as your "canvas," and compose your layout using freestyle placement of fibers or pre-felted shapes. We will use the Felt Loom for ease and efficiency. Time permitting, Heather also will discuss and demonstrate needle felting by hand, so you can give it a whirl at home!
$45 will cover the cost of materials and instruction for Heather's Needle Felting workshop.
Pre-registration is preferred for all workshops, but we will try to have supplies on hand to welcome any walk-ins.
