Email Campaign (NO PRAYER AT SCHOOL BOARD MEETINGS)

On June 24th the school board will be voting on a policy to allow invocations/prayer at the beginning of school board meetings (Policy Number Po0165). It has always been the stance of The Space Coast Freethought Association and The Humanist Community that prayer should not be permitted during government meetings. That being said if the policy does pass we will be participating and offering inclusive invocations.

We are asking you to email the school board and tell them you oppose this policy proposal and urge them to vote no on it's implementation. Those with school children in the county if you are comfortable, your voice carries the most weight. Your messages can be as simple as I oppose the invocation/prayer proposal and ask that you vote no. Please follow the simple steps below and make sure to signup and attend the Board meeting on June 24th at 9:00am to show your support and offer a public comment if you feel so compelled.
