Talk Details:
Stefan Ilie - A React Native Journey at the LEGO Group
A quick dive into React Native and how we’re using it here at the LEGO Group. We’ll explore the world of our react native monorepo, containing our apps and component library, juggling multiple dependency managers, e2e tests and a release pipeline all whilst updating legacy code.
Miles Bardon - GraphQL DevEx for a happier team
Our GraphQL stack has evolved dramatically over the past year, so how do we keep up with a growing codebase and by extension, a growing schema? This talk will go in depth into how we've dramatically improved the developer experience for all engineers working on our GraphQL Gateway.
Lee Priest - Observability: The Hidden Stories In Your Data
Do you really know what your services are up to? Are they keeping their best stories to themselves? Observability can be key to uncovering any secrets your services may be harbouring. From unstructured vs structured logging to unique references to data integration services to data journeys, let’s talk.
**James Woods - Using XState to manage checkout state for LEGO.com**
An introduction to XState and using state machines to power the logic behind complex user interfaces. In this talk, we’ll explore how we model the [LEGO.com](http://lego.com/) checkout as a state machine within our NextJS web app and reflect on the successes and challenges of this approach.
