What we’re about

Even if you've never done Yoga before, but like the idea of becoming more self aware in body, mind and spirit, then this is just the group for you. For all ages and all body types. After all, everyone is built differently and everyone has different limitations. Bridge2Yoga is about the strengthening and the stretching while incorporating things like the 8 Limbs, the 4 Aims of life and the Guna's.
These sessions are mostly on Zoom, but we sometimes meet in public parks and other in person settings. If you'd like one-on-one instruction, hit up Kimber and she'll get you the hourly rates for personal practices. We teach many styles of Yoga including Hatha, Flow, Restorative, Yin and Chair Yoga.
If you're new to Yoga, Hatha is more about holding the postures for 2-5 breaths and building strengh with some stretching mixed in as well. Flow classes are more movement based with the poses. Restorative Yoga is a great way to be introduced to Yoga if you've never done it before. Restorative is a lot about getting comfortable and listening to the body and is a little more meditative. Yin Yoga is about holding a gentle stretch for usually 3+ minutes with some philosophy sprinkled in there. And lastly Chair Yoga is gentle Yoga for strengthening but using the chair as a tool for our postures.
Feel free to send a note if you have any questions.
Thanks for your attention and I look forward to practicing with you!
**Meetup requires that if you are under the age of 18, you must attend the meetings with a guardian.
