What we’re about
Some of us are members of the Bahá'í community, and others are interfaith collaborators. We are of diverse cultural and racial backgrounds and live in the Seattle/Lynnwood/Everett area in the State of Washington.
Let's get together with our like-minded neighbors to build Bridges Into Unity. We talk about such issues as race and gender, economic fairness, climate change, conditions that create unity, and spiritual solutions with practical applications to any problems we face. We are non-political in our approach, and we respect all faiths and passions. Our topics vary from week to week.
Join us here in our corner of Northwest King/Southwest Snohomish Counties. If you live outside of this area, you are invited too. We would love for you to share your ideas along with your thoughts on ways to implement new ideas.

See all- Let’s Talk – Spiritual Conversations on Race UnityLink visible for attendees
Please join us on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. for the next evening of our ongoing dialog on the spiritual aspects of race, diversity and inclusion entitled, Let’s Talk – Spiritual Conversations on Race Unity sponsored by the Bahá'ís of Everett.
This month we will be viewing Thomas Owen’s 2020 TEDxAuckland talk entitled “The Loss of Privilege.” Mr. Owen speaks about the privileges attached to age, race, gender, physical and mental wellness, sexual orientation, languages spoken, and citizenships held - among others - are often invisible to us until we lose them. How do we respond when a relative balance of privilege changes in our lives? How do we experience privilege loss? Thomas Owen is a teacher, author, filmmaker and advocate for peace, social justice, and an end to arbitrary inequality. Thomas teaches Intercultural Communication and Global Crises and the Media at Auckland University of Technology, and wrote the book ‘Patents, Pills and the Press’ about global HIV/AIDS. He lives in Auckland, New Zealand, and The Yukon, Canada.

Racism is a profound deviation from the standard of true morality. It deprives a portion of humanity of the opportunity to cultivate and express the full range of their capability and to live a meaningful and flourishing life, while blighting the progress of the rest of humankind. – The Universal House of Justice, 22 July 2020
Our goal is to further our collective understanding around these complex social issues; to guide us to positive action; and toward the achievement of real, lasting change. The evening's program begins with a brief inspirational and devotional.
