Social Meetup: refreshing drinks and talk some blockchain

Hopefully you can find some chill in this very hot week. For those who are not on Holiday we invite you for our next meetup to catch up with other blockchain enthusiasts and socialize over a refreshing drink!

Thanks for the people who filled in the short questionnaire about dates and locations we send out a few days ago. Wednesday 31st of July was picked the most.

No agenda. No speakers. No official start-time. This is a lightweight edition for those who want to stay connected with the rest of the community and share some thoughts. Topics that you can expect in conversations include: Local blockchain initiatives and opportunities, future meetups (topics, speakers), Facebookcoin and probably a bit about the Bitcoin price.

Most of you who replied in the form are inspired by Arnhem as a 'bitcoin friendly' city who has many cafes/restaurants that accept bitcoin as payment thanks to POS-system BitKassa. How cool would it be if we can onboard some places in Eindhoven too!?

Some people suggested places we can approach and ask for their willingness to consider accepting Bitcoin. Until we convince more locations about accepting it for payments, we will bring our cash and bitcoin wallets to Soul Kitchen on Strijp-S.
