St Paul's school is a specialist STEM school (science, technology, engineering and maths). Local scientists hold occasional talks for pupils and public about interesting topics. This lecture is about what makes us 'human'. Is it just chemicals working in our brain, or is there a more spiritual element? What about God? Or are we just machines (replaceable by AI)?
The lecture is free to all. Refreshments are available from 6pm, and the lecture starts at 6.15pm.
Leave enough time to find the lecture theatre. There should be someone from the school in the car park to direct you.
The talks usually last about one hour.
