About 5 Rhythms
5 Rhythms is a free style dance form developed by the late, great, Gabrielle Roth, with whom I trained.
The 5 Rhythms are flow, staccato, chaos, lyrical and stillness and danced as a wave they lead the dancer to a state of feeling whole that is similar to that found from meditation practice.
At love thy, we dance in a magnificent medieval church, the oldest in Brighton. It's an amazing and inspiring space to move in with a lovely welcoming energy.
The venue is close to central Brighton and easily accessed by trains and buses. Local paid parking is also available, but it's a busy residential area!
No experience required and we welcome movers of all ages and mobilities - wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a drink.
Please turn off your phones and keep the dance floor a chat free space.
I look forward to dancing with you.
