- For the first time, Brighton AI and Sussex AI are bringing together Brighton’s vibrant AI community and all who are curious about the future of technology.
- Everyone is welcome to an evening designed to challenge our assumptions, explore diverse viewpoints, and dive into the ethical questions surrounding AI in our communities.
- You’ll be more than just a spectator—through accessible, interactive tools, you’ll tackle real-world ethical dilemmas about AI’s role in our lives. Each scenario offers rich context, and you’ll have the chance to vote on challenging decisions and anonymously share your thoughts.
- Using just your smartphone, you’ll shape the discussion and see live poll results as they unfold.
- At the end of the session, our expert panel from digital health, ethics, community engagement, tourism and AI research will break down the collective responses, highlighting areas of consensus, division, and key insights from the group.
- We welcome diverse perspectives and experiences—whether you’re a tech professional, a creative, or just curious about AI’s impact, you’ll find your place in this conversation.
- Before the event, you’ll receive a few questions to consider, and your answers will help guide the evening’s content.

The Department for Business & Trade (DBT) Technology Foreign Direct Investment Team
Colleagues from the DBT Technology Foreign Direct Investment Team will be joining us. DBT are the department for economic growth. They support businesses to invest, grow and export, creating jobs and opportunities across the country. The Technology Foreign Direct Investment Team focus on matching a pipeline of foreign investors interested in setting up or growing in locations across the UK (with a focus on AI, Quantum, Semi-Conductors, Cybersecurity and Telecoms). They are visiting the Greater Brighton region to find out why it is a great place for Technology businesses and are attending our event to gain first-hand experience of our support ecosystem for Technology businesses.
