What does Brighton think about AI as we step into 2025?

AI is shaking up the creative world, and for many artists, designers, and makers, it raises big questions. Is AI a threat to creativity? Does it replace originality? How can we use it without losing our own artistic voice?
This event is about taking control of the conversation. We’re building Brighton’s first-ever AI-powered community mural, a collaborative piece that captures our city’s past, present, and future with AI, on our own terms.

Never created an AI image? No problem. This event is for everyone, whether you’re into tech, art, or just curious.

What to Expect:
🎨 A space where creativity comes first, no tech expertise needed.
🤖 Step-by-step guidance on using AI tools to amplify, not replace, creativity.
🖼️ The chance to be part of something bigger, a mural that reflects Brighton’s collective vision of AI.

We’re joined by Jonathan Malyon, creative technology expert and founder of We Are Tilt, an award-winning agency exploring how AI can enhance storytelling and design. Jonathan understands the challenges and fears around AI in the creative space, and how we can use it as a tool for innovation rather than competition.

Whether you’re a creative, a curious mind, or someone who just loves a good community project, this is for you. Let’s make something amazing together!
