Outdoor Theatre - The Importance of Being Earnest at Nymans

An old chestnut, but delivered in an affectionate, irreverent way!
Hopefully it will be presented in front of the atmospheric ruin in the picture as they did in the past, however, either way it should be fun.

We'll start our picnic at 6pm inside (some of gardens may be accessible), join us inside when you can, the play starts at 7pm.

Purchase your own tickets £18 and bring a picnic and warm clothes/ rain protection. Umbrellas are prohibited , unless you are at the very back .

The Importance of Being Earnest by the Handlebards - Fri 3 Sept 7pm - 9pm

Slapstick Picnic present a fantastically wild(e) new production, ripping up the recipe book and celebrating silliness. Prepare to witness the impossible - the entirety of Oscar Wilde’s classic play of manners, affairs and handbags being performed by just two rather dashing entertainers. This is an outdoor production, so please bring your own chair or blanket to sit on, a picnic to dig into, and dress for the weather!

Doors will open at 6pm, with the performance beginning at 7pm.
