Brighton's 1822 Boundary
Details
A ramble around the edge of Brighton as it was in 1822. This will be an almost circular walk starting at Brighton station and finishing at St Nicholas Church.
We’ll start by heading to the east then down to the seafront before coming back up to the western boundary. We'll visit Thomas Read Kemp’s ‘Temple’ house in the west and Royal Crescent in the east.
We’ll aim to finish around 13:00
Meet at the front of Brighton station near the Travel Centre and toilets. Look for the chap in the blue and white baseball cap with a blue B on the front.
Terrain: A few hills !
Toilets: At the beginning at Brighton station and on the seafront.
If you'd like to help me pay the Meetup charges, I'll happily accept a two-pound donation at the end. Lots of people don't carry cash now so I do have an electronic solution subject to mobile phone signal!
