Looking forward to seeing you all this morning. I learnt alot of things on the trial run yesterday! 🙂 People should park in one of the Seven Sisters visitors centre car parks , there is then a 10 minute walk back to the pub. Its not suitable to park in the Cuckmere inn car park, their short term parking is reserved for patrons only, there are cameras. Please be prompt this morning if you can be, people turned up at 11.30am for lunch yesterday at the vineyard(!) , at best we will get there at 12pm, or just before if we start the walk at 10.30am. Lovely 8.5 mile circular walk from Exceat bridge along the Cuckmere to the Rathfinny vineyard in Alfriston. We'll undertake the self guided tour of the vineyard (included in the distance, see the map in the photos below) and enjoy their special BBQ for lunch (just one weekend a year). The views from the vineyard are equal to the famous High and Over (which we will also visit). This is also a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a glass of sparkling Sussex wine (or two!) at one of the very best vineyards in England.

We'll return back to Exceat via the High and Over and along the river.
Buses 12, 12A, 12X and 13X stop close to the Exceat bridge/Cuckmere Inn.
