Details
RIDE LEVEL: EASY, BUT GRADUAL UPHILL TO STANMER/MAINLY CYCLE PATHS BUT SOME ROAD CYCLING
Stanmer Gardens are a beautiful set of gardens set inside the old walled area of Stanmer Park and include a nice coffee shop.
The ride up there is about 5 miles (10 miles return) - mainly on cycle paths beside the Lewes Road. It is a slight gradient - 80m ascent in total. Most bikes are fine though the track is a bit rougher through the park, but you should still be OK with road bike tyres.
We'll start from the cycle path near Queen Victoria Statue (near to Brighton Dome).

- Bring a spare inner tube in case of punctures, if you can.
- If you’re unwell, or just changed your mind, please amend your RSVP.
