Our first Brighton & Hove pod of 2023 is about Entrepreneurship and Freelancing - building your business or side projects growing it soundly and finding funding to help make it into your dream enterprise 💥 🚀.
The world of Entrepreneurship and Freelancing can be daunting and full of pitfalls and hurdles— especially when you’re first starting out. The good news is that a lot of the issues you find scary can absolutely be addressed. In fact, you’ll probably prosper through the process of learning.
Our educational session will be hosted by Vestpod's leader Karen Stenning.
First up, we’ll have a lighthearted comedy session from Mr Money Jar, to ease up the nerves and create a fun environment. Then, we will have a panel that will talk about practical tips and insights regardless of where you’re at with your journey. Our speakers are Neema Amin MBA - Business Mentor and Growth Strategist, Helen Griffiths - Corporate & Audit Manager from Plus Accounting and Kristina Pereckaite from South East Angels.

- Finding the balance between having your day job and side passion project
- Separating your personal finances and on your business finances
- Accounting and taxes
- Different types of investments to build your business - tips for small, medium and larger businesses
- Growing a reliable team

- Learning when it’s time to pursue your passion project full-time
- Taking a temperature check on the health of your business - top tips
This will all be taking place in Wednesday 1st March a Platf9rm in Hove. Found&Flourish and Vestpod — will be that to help you address your concerns and more!
