This impact session will be hosted by Vestpod's Brighton pod leader, Karen Stenning. She will be joined by a fantastic line of speakers including Jeannie Boyle from EQ Investors, an award winning Financial Planner and well-informed ethical financial planner. Also on the panel will be Mariam Crichton, a sustainable fin-tech entrepreneur and Stacey Lowman, a financial coach with a specialism in sustainability and ESG investing.
We will explore the principles and methodologies behind impact investing: an approach that seeks to generate positive social and environmental outcomes alongside financial returns.
Key subjects covered will include:
- Exploring various investing options: equities, bonds, green bonds and social impact bonds
- Understanding the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- Assessing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria
- Discussing successful case studies in the impact investment landscape
