Between Chapters Circle is a gentle sharing circle for people navigating the messy middle of life change.

This is for you if something in your life has shifted, ended, or stopped feeling like it fits – and you’re feeling lost, uncertain, or unsure what comes next.

That might be burnout, career change, a breakup, relocation, grief, health changes, identity shifts, or a quieter inner sense that life is changing and you are not quite sure who you are now.

This circle is a space to slow down, reflect, and connect with others who are also navigating change.

What to expect

We’ll begin with a short grounding practice and an introduction to the circle — including what the space is, what it isn’t, and a few simple agreements around confidentiality, listening, and not rushing to fix or advise each other.

I’ll offer a brief framing around life transitions and the “in-between” space: that place where an old version of life no longer quite fits, but the new one hasn’t fully formed yet.

We’ll then move into check-ins, followed by optional deeper sharing from those who feel called to share. After each share, there will be space for gentle reflections or questions from the circle.

You do not need to share anything you do not want to. You are welcome to participate at the level that feels right for you.

This is not about fixing each other, giving advice, or rushing into answers. It is a space to be heard, make sense of what you’re moving through, and feel less alone in the in-between.

Arrival

Please aim to arrive from 9:50am so we can settle and begin together at 10am.

Because this is a small reflective circle and we’ll be creating a confidential space together, final entry will be at 10:15am.

After that, I may not be able to admit late arrivals, so please give yourself enough time to arrive.

Please bring

Just yourself. You may want to bring water or anything that helps you feel comfortable.

Important note

This is a reflective community space, not therapy or crisis support. If you are in acute distress or need mental health support, please seek appropriate professional help.

Facilitated by Rob Hemsley, Identity & Transition Coach.
