(Full) Brighton Role Players at the Skiff
Details
Due to a recent uptick in membership we're unfortunately having to put a hold on additional members.
Our focus is on shorter games that run for 4, 8, or 12 weeks (16 at a push) and put an emphasis on using the group to start home-based games. Feel free to drop by and introduce yourself, if you want to come along just to see if this is the sort of thing you'd like, we don't mind.
We have four games planned for February-April:
Deadlands, run by Matt: A postapocalyptic America after a disastrous ritual conducted during the civil war, leaving the land wracked by magic and chaos. Matt is running the prewritten campaign 'Horror at Headstone Hill'.
Dune, run by Alex: A game set in Frank Herbert's sci-fi universe. In this campaign the players are acting as a vassal house to the Harkonnens. This is definitely not a 'good guys' campaign.
D&D 5E, run by James: An already classic game, details for this specific campaign are pending (sorry).
Sentinel Comics, run by Krzys: Using the GYRO system, play as superheroes tasked with transporting supervillains to incarceration, which will definitely go according to plan.
The Skyrim Boardgame, 'run' by Nick: Take on the role of the blades as you try to face the looming threat that will kick off in about 25 years. Includes character building, dungeon delving, and plenty of quests involving nefarious beasties.
We'll typically start showing up around 19:30 (although the bulk will show up after 20:00), hang out and chat, maybe play some boardgames, then split up to roleplay at 21:00. If this interests you, then feel free to come by and see if you like it.
We're a warm, friendly bunch and look forward to meeting you.
P.S. The Skiff has a fridge and microwave, along with crockery. Ordering in food is also quite common. As they're not charging us for the space (like the angels they are) do take care, and obviously clean up any mess.
