A City on Mars by Kelly and Zach Weinersmith on Wednesday July 16th

This month we will be discussing A City on Mars by Kelly and Zach Weinersmith (ISBN 978-0141993300). This book won the Science Book prize last year. It discusses the realistic possibilities of humans settling elsewhere in the Universe, starting with Mars. If you are thinking of Joining Elon Musk in his martian city, this could be the book for you.

Read the book and join us to discuss it on Wednesday 16th July. We meet on the third Wednesday of each month.

We alternate each meetup with a free book choice and a chosen book choice and we sometimes meet in Brighton at the Holiday Inn reception and at other times meet online.

In the 'any book' events just come along and discuss with us a book you've recently read, a science related topic you've been studying or even just an article in the New Scientist other other publication you've found fascinating.

In the chosen book events, we will select a named book, read it in advance and discuss the book amongst ourselves on the day.
