Look Up! Threats and Opportunities from Above

Our 2026 season of Science on Tap continues on Wednesday, March 18 from 7-8 pm at Brewery Becker in Brighton; doors and the second-floor cash bar open at 6:45. Join Professor Seth Jacobson of the Departments of Earth & Environmental Sciences and Physics & Astronomy at MSU as he presents “Look Up! Threats and Opportunities from Above.” Come join us as we discuss and share insights into interplanetary impact threats, mitigation strategies, NASA's DART mission, and the next steps to be taken to keep Earth safe from these potential encounters.
