Tonight we are delighted to have Edward Silverton presenting his brand new talk on PayloadCMS, a relatively new Headless CMS built with TypeScript and React/Next.js.

Talk Description:

Join Edward Silverton for a practical introduction to PayloadCMS through a real-world project.

We’ll look at how Payload integrates seamlessly with Next.js and TypeScript, how schemas are defined in code, and how features like relationships, hooks, and endpoints come together in production.

The session will also cover deployment to Vercel with a serverless Postgres database via Neon, along with internationalisation and custom data seeding.

Expect code examples and a clear picture of what working with PayloadCMS looks like in practice.

Ed is a Software Engineer and Technical Consultant with over 20 years' experience, specialising in full-stack development, user experience design, and emerging AI technologies.
