Welcome to all our members, old and new! This month we are having two wonderful in person talks.

First up is the infamous Lincoln Colling who will be asking what we, as software engineers and python users, can do to prevent the impending catastrophe of climate change? Did you know computing is estimated to be responsible for about 4% of global greenhouse gas emissions. Data centres alone have a carbon footprint equivalent to the US commercial aviation industry!

Next up we have Sam Bull who will be taking us on a technical deep dive to unravel the inner workings of asyncio, a powerful module for asynchronous programming in Python!
