Description: How to make Python applications using PyQt. Stefan will use experimental control software as an example — an application that was created to control an atomic physics experiment and analyse data in real time.

Title: Highlights from EARL 2025: Insights, Inspiration, and a Bit of Code
Description: With EARL 2025 come and gone, Laura will walk us through the highlights of the conference, sharing the best insights and takeaways. Following that, she may even showcase some code from projects she’s been working on over the past month.

Now, refreshments! Drinks and pizza will be served from 6pm. Talks will commence at 6:30pm/6:45pm and the event will conclude at 8:30pm.
The conversation can even continue after the event at a local pub.
